DBA Lawyer's Creed & Guidelines to Professional Courtesy

The Dallas Bar Association’s Professionalism Task Force created the state’s first Lawyer’s Creed and Guidelines of Professional Courtesy in 1987.  In 2003, the Dallas Bar Association’s Morris Harrell Professionalism Committee revised the Creed and Guidelines.  On November 7, 1989, the Supreme Court of Texas and the Court of Criminal Appeals promulgated and adopted the Texas Lawyers Creed – A Mandate for Professionalism.
